The new KP-VCGT indexable inserts have been specially developed for grooving, long turning and copy turning of plastics. Their highly positive and extensively ground geometry with polished rake angle guarantees a very aggressive, yet soft cut. Thanks to their slim geometry, these interchangeable inserts are ideally suited to realizing the finest contours even behind the shoulder.
The new KP-VCGT indexable inserts are available in sizes VCGT-0702 .. and VCGT-1303 .. with R0.2
and R0.4. A cutting depth of up to 5.5 mm can be achieved. The right tool holder SDAC-KP-90.. guarantees
turning at an angle of 90° to the axis of rotation. The tool holder SDAC-KP-90 is available in the usual shank sizes.
