T303
– the ideal drill for internal plastic machining
The T303 is the right choice for drilling in plastics. As a versatile all-rounder, it is available as standard in our dimensions Ø d = 0.3 / l = 5 mm up to Ø d = 3 / l = 26 mm. For larger diameters, we recommend pre-drilling and then milling the final inner diameter to ensure short chips and a safer, more process-secure workflow.

– the ideal drill for internal plastic machining
The M823 is excellent for internal machining of plastics. As a standard tool, it is available in our sizes Ø d = 1 / l = 5 mm up to Ø d = 12 / l = 22 mm. For precise diameter machining, we recommend pre-drilling and then slotting (milling) to ensure short chips and a process-safe workflow.

For internal processing of plastics with two cutting edges, we recommend the M966 as the standard tool. We offer it in dimensions Ø d = 0.1 / l = 0.2 mm up to Ø d = 6 / l = 18 mm. For larger diameters, we recommend pre-drilling and then milling the final inner diameter to ensure short chips and a reliable process.

M966 – The two-edged mills for plastic
Internal milling standard tools for GRP / CRP
With glass fiber (GRP) or carbon fiber (CRP) reinforced plastics, which are abrasive, specialized end mills are required. For internal machining of glass- or carbon-fiber reinforced plastics, our milling tools on turning and milling machines rely on robust geometries, sharp cutting edges, and high-performance cross-tooth geometry to ensure short chips and a reliable process. To achieve longer tool life, these mills are also available with CVD (diamond) coating upon request.
